Day 1: Theory, bee equipment, honey uncapping and extraction. Lunch included.
Day 2: Practical working on hives, theory into practice and gaining confidence. Certificate on completion.

Training held monthly in Bedfordview R900. All equipment, notes and practical included. Beekeeping is an amazing hobby, filled with diverse opinions and endless questions. This course, costing R900, covers everything from bee biology, regulations, safety, hives, PPE, honey production, swarm catching, and a practical demonstration.
With free suit use on the day. It also offers ongoing support through an active WhatsApp group. Also, additional free practical training in Johannesburg throughout the year.

Our standard Intermediate two-day weekend Course “Basics in Beekeeping”.
Everything the Novice Beekeeper needs to gain confidence working on his/her bees.
Practical hands-on training takes place on Day 2 at our farm apiary sites.
Other practical courses on Bee Removals and other Beekeeping workshops run from time to time.
